Volée is a non-alcoholic apéritif that enjoys considerable success with German supermarkets. They wanted to launch a D2C element and were looking for help to get their digital elements off the ground. Working with Volée’s founders and a branding agency, we put together a team to bring the drink’s digital presence to life. Working alongside a developer, designer and copywriter, we pieced together a performance marketing and e-commerce strategy to compete in the crowded market for non-alcoholic drinks.
It’s not easy to sell drinks online, especially to customers who haven’t tasted it, and we leaned into this by creating different situations for Volée to be experienced, with bundle offers based on cocktail recipes increasing the average order value required to deliver good results from our ad spend.
We also worked on a checkout solution using Shopify for IRL activations, as Volée is a regular presence at food markets. We built personalized email flows to thank customers for sampling the drink, following up with further product offers and teasers.
Our work is active across both Google and Meta, with a constantly evolving process of targeting the right customer based on intersecting criteria like age, interests, shopping habits, taste and lifestyle.
